My thoughts on my role as a psychologist:
“I see my role as a psychologist as assisting the people I work with to reduce psychological suffering, recognise their strengths and develop an understanding of what is most important for them to create a satisfying life. I believe it takes courage for someone to acknowledge the challenges that they face and make the decision to do something about it. I value creating a space in which the people I work with feel comfortable to explore those challenges and to work collaboratively with them to shape therapy to their needs and guide them towards meaningful change in their life”.
