Dr Maya Griffiths - Clinical Psychologist
Maya is a clinical psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents and adults. Maya has experience treating depression, anxiety, personality difficulties, grief and loss issues and parent-child relationship difficulties.
Maya has completed both a Master of Clinical Psychology and a PhD and her research has been published in journals such as Clinical Child Psychology and Psychiatry and Journal of Paediatric Oncology Nursing.
Maya’s general philosophy in how she approaches life is:
I try to live in the present, being mindful of my thoughts and focusing on all the positive things in life. I try to be appreciative of everything I have and I try not to get caught up in all the small stuff. It’s the bigger picture that has greater importance. I feel that it is who I am as a person, how I live my life and the quality of the relationships I have with the people around me that matters the most.
