Rebecca’s Experience:
Rebecca is a Psychologist specialising across clinical, corporate, and occupational and rehabilitation psychology. Her areas of clinical expertise include the assessment and treatment of a range of psychological disorders of all ages (Children, Adolescent and Adult). Rebecca uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. Rebecca’s areas of corporate expertise include group facilitation, conflict resolution, mediation, executive coaching, personnel selection and EAP counselling. Rebecca’s areas of expertise in the occupational and rehabilitation psychology include extensive experience in the psychological assessment and treatment within the Comcare and Worker’s Compensation framework and the delivery of the following services: Initial Needs Assessment, Adjustment to Injury Counselling, Vocational Assessments, Career Coaching, and Stress Claims.
Rebecca has completed a Masters in Organisational Psychology at the University of Queensland and has worked in both private and public sectors delivering corporate and clinical psychology services. She intends to undertake a Doctor of Psychology in 2012. Rebecca currently works part-time as a Psychologist at New Farm Clinic (specialist psychiatry facility) delivery inpatient and outpatient group therapy programs and also works part-time in private practice at 4 Life Psychology Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
